》re:verb《
Cailleach Books is partnering with re:verb by @c_makris, a dreamy new festival of poetry and verbal art that strays predominantly from the mainstream, and aims to expand the potential of live literature.
Its purpose is to offer an outlet and an encouragement for new forms and approaches to the making and presentation of contemporary poetry and literature that privilege liveness and vibrancy. And as a small poetry/verbal arts festival, re:verb aims to operate on a model that relies on a communal, artist- and audience-centred stake in its workings.

To further explore this work, you can browse a new dedicated section on cailleachbooks.ie where publishing affiliated with and adjacent to the poets and artists of the festival has become available to buy online.
The re:verb collection features publishers such as gorse, Divided Publishing, Wurm Press, Monitor Books, No Alibi Press, Veer2, Macha Press, Shearsman Books, The Lilliput Press, Verso, plus more leading up to the festival weekend - where you can say hello and browse some of these exciting publications at our next in-person iteration!

re:verb is, in its current form at least, a zero-budget and DIY operation. Which means that all artists fees - will depend entirely on ticket sales. Please support this work by purchasing a festival pass or ticket via the link in bio.
Come hang out with us at @kirkos_ensemble , 5-6 June x
