This year was nothing close to easy. I learned what it truly means to be a Gombey warrior. To keep dancing through pain, to carry strength with grace, and to keep moving forward no matter how heavy the story may become.

To my Village, thank you for loving me through every high and low, for holding me up when I couldn’t do it on my own, and for reminding me who I am when I started to forget.🫂

To my little part of the journey I will always carry with me. You taught me strength in its rawest form, broke me open, and rebuilt me with a deeper sense of compassion and resilience.💚

In less than 24 hours I’ll officially be an HBCU grad 😛🎓
