POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This year was nothing close to easy. I learned what it truly means to be a Gombey warrior. To keep dancing through pain, to carry strength with grace, and to keep moving forward no matter how heavy the story may become.

To my Village, thank you for loving me through every high and low, for holding me up when I couldn’t do it on my own, and for reminding me who I am when I started to forget.🫂

To my little part of the journey I will always carry with me. You taught me strength in its rawest form, broke me open, and rebuilt me with a deeper sense of compassion and resilience.💚

In less than 24 hours I’ll officially be an HBCU grad 😛🎓 by @marli.jadee

the past 4 years, i watched a little girl find and lose herself in her favourite sport but she gave everything to still lace up her boots with a broken heart and a strong face. she showed up when no one knew how heavy her chest felt, smiled when her world was dim, and fought battles most people couldn’t see. Iykyk… It was only right I ended how it all started. Any number to the world but forever number 11 in heaven.🌱 by @marli.jadee
