2 months agoThis place cares iust enough about the animals to keep them looking nice for customers and keep profiting from them. I went to UU Farms today as a bday gift and boy I have an experience to tell… Despite the many kids being pushy and chasing some animals, I can say I was having a relaxing time until when I was in line waiting for my turn to join the Capybara feeding. The first group that was in the enclosure with vegetables in their hands, sitting and waiting for the capybara to come and eat. Suddenly I see this 80 year old white british dude grabbing a goose by the neck and pinning it down, claiming that the goose was bothering him. My husband and I start yelling at him to stop because NO ONE from staff was doing anything about it. When we finally caught their attention, they took the goose away, apologized to us and said that the goose was bothering the client. THE DUCK WAS BOTHERINF THE CLIENT WHO WAS PINNING IT DOWN BY THE NECK? WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK, UU Farms.!? The staff never talked to the old guy to address the animal misstreat, and they carried on like nothing had happened. I was so disturbed by the violent image of the 80 yo guy stranging the goose that I had to cut my birthday celebration short and leave the place. Very sad experience. For sure I will not go back and I advise people to not support UU Farms.
