✨ONLINE STORE UPDATE✨ I finally made some (much-needed) updates and improvements to my online store and the BLING✨ website! On my new online store, you can find prints, my art book, and a few ORIGINAL DRAWINGS that I’m making available for sale. I plan to add a few more originals eventually, but since there’s only ONE of each, don’t blink or you might miss your chance. 😉 The BLING✨ website also got an update! You can now learn more about the graphic novel and, if you want to read it, you have the option of buying a signed copy directly from me or ordering through Amazon. (Finalmente tem versão do site do BLING✨ em português também!🇧🇷) I’m really proud of how both sites came together. They finally feel like a proper home for my personal art and projects I’ve been creating outside of my commercial work. Check them out! BLING✨02 is OUT! This is the second book of my graphic novel series that I have been working on for the past 3 years. This second volume took me about a year to finish and It has been a year of long hours after work to be able to put this project together on my own. Totally indie. Inked with pen on paper🤟. Check it out and get some copies on my links in bio (at amazon or my online store). Also, show some love by sharing it. That would mean the world to me. BLING✨has been a crazy journey. Having published book 01 feels like a great accomplishment and relief but there’s still lots to do and finish. I’m winding down, sketching some stuff for funsies and getting ready to get back to book 02 next month. Grab your copy at the link in the description 🔗! English and Portuguese versions available. Boa sorte a todos.✌🏼 by @squallyjunction

Luq and BB sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Japan and a trip to Paris. 💎 Commission work done for a special pledge from my BLING 02✨ Kickstarter. Thank you for supporting the book! Did this commission inspire me to come up with some new characters for BLING 03? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Wait and see, I guess… #couplegoals #illustration #commissionart #copicmarkers #kawaii by @squallyjunction
Happy #internationalcatday . I was always an “animal person”, but cats is something that kinda slowly happened in my life. I have them, draw them, love them, lost them, got hurt by them, rescued them, and from now and then, learned to let them go….. I wouldn’t say I’m a cat lady. They just cross my path and I say yes. It’s the cat distribution system’s fault.🤷🏼‍♀️ #illustration #catart #artist by @squallyjunction
It wasn’t Brazil’s turn this worldcup, but it was nice to see Spain winning. Well deserved, well played. I’m now excited for the women’s world cup in 2027 ⚽️. #spainworldcup #fifaworldcup2026 #soccer #spainvsargentina #worldcup by @squallyjunction
I don’t really like recording my drawing process, not because of gatekeeping. It’s mostly that I don’t like how my hands look on camera (especially in winter). Then I think about the Aesop’s fable “The Stag and His Reflection”, and it reminds me how far these hands have taken me in my career. They’ve created everything I’ve accomplished, and that’s something to be proud of— no matter how dry and scratched up by cats they look. 🩹 Cleaning up a page of BLING 02, my original independent graphic novel. I rather clean up a page full of detail then a page with a few curves and circles. I spin the page so much that I get dizzy😵‍💫. Cleaning up a page of BLING 02, my original independent graphic novel. BLING✦02 IS OUT IN 10 DAYS! It feels surreal to have finished another 80-page comic as a hobby. And you know what... I think I’m ready for Vol. 03. 😎 If you’ve already read Vol. 01, I think you’re going to like Vol. 02 even more. And if you haven’t read BLING✦ yet, now’s the perfect time to jump in! Twenty years ago, I never thought I’d still be using the drafting tools from my product design bachelor’s degree to draw comics. T-squares, triangles, French curves, circle templates... I thought AutoCAD would make hand drafting obsolete. Fast forward to 2026. Barely anybody uses AutoCAD anymore,— but my rulers still rule. 📏 📐 Cleaning up a page of BLING 02, my original independent graphic novel.
