Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, My name is Sheikh Almeen Ceesay, the Mudir of Karantaba Islamic Institute. We begin by thanking Allah سبحانه وتعالى and extending our sincere appreciation to everyone who has been supporting us in this noble journey of building the future of the Deen and nurturing the seekers of the Holy Qur’an. As we are in the blessed ten days of Dhul Hijjah — days in which righteous deeds are greatly rewarded by Allah — we humbly seek your helping hand to support the students of our institute by providing Qurban for them during Eid al-Adha. Many of these students dedicate their lives to memorizing and learning the Book of Allah, and your contribution, no matter how small, can bring happiness and relief to their hearts during these blessed days. As it is beautifully said: إدخال السرور على قلوب المؤمنين “Bringing joy into the hearts of the believers.” And especially the people of the Qur’an, for the Prophet ﷺ said: أهل القرآن هم أهل الله وخاصته “The people of the Qur’an are the people of Allah and His special ones.” The Prophet ﷺ also said: والله في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه “Allah is in the aid of His servant as long as the servant is in the aid of his brother.” Let us strive together in these days of mercy, forgiveness, and multiplied rewards to support the students and seekers of the Holy Qur’an and help make their Eid al-Adha a joyful and blessed one.
