Hothouse

3 music acts take us to the end with 𝐸𝓍𝒸𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝑅𝑒𝓉𝓊𝓇𝓃, closing @sifa_sg on 30 May.

𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗴 explores the aesthetics of the zany through the limitations of legacy hardware. Utilizing the Roland JV-1080 synthesiser, his work ‘MILD NOURISHMENT’ is amplified by immersive PS1-style animations that bleed off the screen. The stage becomes a glowing, low-poly dreamscape—a sonic chronicle of personal friction set within an expanded virtual world.
