It’s never really about the race, it’s about who I had to become in the process.
HYROX Ottawa was about redemption. The result is exciting, but what I’m most proud of is everything that happened before the start line: the early mornings, the workouts nobody saw, the runs I didn’t feel like doing, and the decision to keep showing up when I was kicked down multiple times.
The race wasn’t perfect, and in run 6 I started battling an ugly quad cramp that I thought for sure would have ended my race. I had to dig deeper than I wanted to but that’s what made it meaningful. Not because everything went to plan, but because I kept moving forward when it didn’t.
What makes this race even more meaningful is that this wasn’t just for me. Together, we raised over $500 for women in need. YOU did that.
1:37 ➡️ 1:32 ➡️ 1:26 ➡️ HYROX Toronto 2026 👀
A reminder that consistency compounds. Not overnight. Not in a week. But over months of showing up again and again.
To everyone who donated, cheered me on, sent a message or followed along with my training: thank you. This wasn’t a win just for me, but a win for the girls who are resilient af and relentless in the pursuit of their goals.
See you in Toronto 🔥
