Wild Card

THANK YOU! 💚

Yesterday the largest EVER gathering of slugs marched to DEFRA to deliver our 146,000 signature petition calling for vital ancient woodland restoration! 🌳

We are so thrilled that so many of you turned up and made the day so much fun.

Now for the shoutouts....

Massive thanks to all the stewards and organisers, to the photographers and videographers, to @38degrees_uk for hosting the petition, to @thelostgiantmakers and @xr_artblockers for our incredible props and costumes and to all our amazing speakers (@youngwilders_, @ancientwoodlandsuk, @the_wellstead_rewilding)! Thank you also to @andrewgeorge_cornwall for taking the time to come and talk to us, and to Connor at DEFRA for accepting our petition. This was truly a team effort and we've left feeling so inspired by everyone involved. 🫶

So, what's next? 🤔

The Wild Card team have lots of exciting things coming up which we can't wait to share with you... So sign up to our mailing list for updates! Link in bio 🔗
