A new series this week exploring the quotes for Visions of Whence Vol. II 🌞 For this new book, I reached out to a number of artists who I greatly admire and have learned so much from over the years.

These folks were kind enough to preview the new book and lend me some lines for the back cover. And I am forever in their debt. 🌿

Today is the wonderful, incomparable, @iriscompiet !

“To get a glimpse of any artist’s sketchbook is like looking over their shoulder at how they see the world. Cory is giving us that rare opportunity to discover his world, Whence. With every pencil mark and stroke of his brush Cory shows us what it means to be a masterful storyteller.

From rough thumbnails to detailed art it is a book which takes you on an adventure into imagination, it is an endless source of inspiration and lights a fire in you heart. What an incredible honour to be given a glimpse into Whence.”

Iris Compiet, award-winning fantasy illustrator and creator of Faeries of the Faultlines.

Visions of Whence Vol. II is a new hardcover anthology, collecting five sketchbooks of fairytale and fantasy art.
