I am so thankful for the sport of track and field. The person I was before I picked up a shot and disc and the person after are two completely different people, and I have track to thank for that. I have had so many great experiences and met so many great people because of this sport. My career didn’t end the way I wanted, but that’s how it is sometimes. I’ve still accomplished a lot in my career, and I take great pride in that and will never forget that. To everyone that helped me in any way, thank you so much. From my mom showing up to every single meet in my career to my in person coaches coach Stemp and coach P, to my online coach Mason Woods for taking me to the next level, to my teammates pushing me every day, and to everyone I’ve met along the way. This has been really special.
