Happy Father’s Day to my father and all the dads! I learned from my father how to dream and place your plans in the hands of God. My father arrived to the USA as a 15 yr. old boy with nothing but a desire to live in peace and freedom. He was an orphan that fled the violence of the Civil War in El Salvador and worked hard, prayed, and started a family. As America turns 250 let us not forget the hard work that immigrants and their families have contributed to make USA greater. ¡Gracias papá!

Just look at what it meant for Marc Cucurella to celebrate the World Cup win with his whole family.

Because this is not a normal situation for him...

His son Mateo is autistic. He can't talk, and he always struggles with a lot of stimuli. That is why he is usually not in the stadium during games.

Cucurella's partner, Claudia Rodríguez, and their two other children, Rio and Bella, are usually at the games. But at this World Cup too, Mateo missed every game.

Simply because a stadium environment is far too overwhelming for him. 🏟️

But Cucurella promised Mateo that if Spain reached the final, he would take him to the stadium.

And Spain reached the final. So Mateo was there, watching the game from a special place as he saw his father become a World Champion... 🏆

And just look at what that meant to Cucurella after the game, finally being able to celebrate all together 🥹

What a fantastic day that must have been for him. It was about much more than just the World Cup trophy.

A fantastic player, but an even better father 👏
