The Other Patient by @danielhurstbooks
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Thank you netgalley for my e arc in exchange for an honest review.

Iris and Freya get in a car accident and when Iris is less injured than Freya, she decides to be discharged under Freyas identity! Iris rushes back to her house to take up Freyas life while Freya is left in the hospital tricked into thinking she is going insane...

Taking a break from fantasy, I was in the mood for a thriller. What drew me to this story was the synopsis as well as one of the characters having the same name as my daughter. Freya. Both Freya and Iris were interesting characters and kept me entertained and engaged throughout the whole story. Everyone had their secrets and motivations for doing the things they ended up doing. The ending was solid and didn't feel rushed or anything. I would gladly read other works by this author one day.
