Happy Release day to @sethsjostromm and his album „Kom Hem“!

From the intimate arrangements of vocals and bass of Kom Hem Pt. 2 to the explosive beginning of Sing, from the free improvisiations of Stämma and Fill My Head to the beautiful melodies of 04.00 and Annalkan:
This album is truely unique in its expression, so diverse in its soundscapes. Yet every tune bears a sonic imprint, that ties it all together somehow.
In every note played, you can feel that Seth found a band, that, above all, listens. In a world that often rewards the boldest and loudest people, I find this very precious and rare.
I haven’t worked on many records, where it was so easy to place each element in the mix, because of the way that all the musicians gave space to each other. Listen for example to how the saxophone sneaks into the piano solo in Annalkan and how smoothely the piano then gives way for the saxophone for its own solo. All these transitions basically mixed themselves.

This album holds a special place in my heart and I hope it will find its place in yours too:
