Bollbacken Housing explores how density can still feel calm.

Designed by Söderberg Söderberg, the project rethinks living through restraint rather than spectacle. Volumes are carefully arranged to follow the terrain, allowing buildings to step gently through the landscape instead of dominating it.

Warm timber surfaces soften the geometry, while shared outdoor spaces become extensions of everyday domestic life. Circulation paths feel informal and human scaled, encouraging encounters without forcing them.

The architecture succeeds quietly.
Not by adding more, but by placing just enough.
