The layout was reshaped to fit three proper rooms, a generous kitchen with dining area and a bathroom, balancing logic and fluidity.Japandi sensibilities inform the design, paired with subtle mid‑century modern accents. Positioned along the Indalsälven valley, the building responds to terrain, climate, and the realities of rural emergency work. Visibility, accessibility, and clarity of movement define every decision.Concrete anchors the lower level where vehicles and operations demand durability. Above, timber construction introduces warmth and human scale, balancing technical precision with everyday occupation. Large glulam beams span the vehicle hall, allowing openness, daylight, and clear visual connection through the building toward the surrounding landscape.It is architecture built for readiness, but also for waiting. Steel does not usually set a mood but this one does.Designed by @___.dpt for Nightcall bar, this ceiling piece is built from brushed aluminium panels joined by exposed rods, housing conical downlights that shift color and rhythm throughout the night. It is a functional object first. Four modular squares, precise joinery, industrial in material and method.But programmed light changes what an object is.
