Walked around Lisbon as steezus and everyone wanted to take a picture with me
Do you prefer vintage or modern? 🕰️ I love modern for the occasions they mark and all the stories they’ll accumulate in the future. But I love vintage for all the stories they tell from day 1. Every hairline scratch and subtle dimple. The imprint of every wrist it’s ever graced. I love wearing something that has so much more interesting things to say than I ever could. What do you prefer, vintage or modern? ⌚️ @cartier Santos Dumont 1576, Black Nubuck Slim Strap by @delugs #watchstudies #santosdumont #cartierwatch
Before you answer too fast… read the whole thing 😂 1️⃣ Composed in public 🤍 One coffee in with me though and I’m talking about horses, moving somewhere I can surf, a business idea I’ll never start, and why tourists standing in the bike lane should be illegal 😭🚲 2️⃣ I look like I have it together 👀🖤 At home I’m having full conversations with myself in the mirror while my coffee goes cold for the fourth time 😂 3️⃣ I will absolutely steal your food 🍕 Not hungry. Your pizza crust just became emotionally important to me 😌 4️⃣ I romanticize everything ☕️🌧 A walk becomes a whole film. A rainy Tuesday in Amsterdam becomes the best day of my week. Genuinely. 5️⃣ I’m quiet for about ten minutes 😭 Then it’s just the two of us, you can’t get rid of me, and suddenly it’s 2am 💀 6️⃣ I’ll look after you constantly 🤍 Snacks brought, hoodie fixed, “did you eat today?” … then dragging you to the gym with me at 11am 😂 7️⃣ Honestly? Life with me wouldn’t be calm. It’d be coffee, long walks, bad weather we both pretend to love, and me asking you questions nobody’s ever asked you ✨ Would you date me or tap out by week two? 😂
Lovely trip back to Manchester topped off with a really good visit with my Dad 🥺 Flirting with the home staff, calling everyone his favourite, winking for another biscuit, cracking a few jokes.. 🤣🤣 He might have lists of his teeth, but he hasn’t lost his sense of humour! Just can’t fully understand the jokes. But what it does do is give us both memories of most Sundays we’d spend together on the moor, from early afternoon until last orders. We had some right laughs and beautiful memories ❤️ Makes me sad that he’s still here but that’s no longer possible. It’s hard to understand the true destruction dementia causes, until you’re in it. And I wouldn’t wish it on anyone in the world - as always, give them a ring if you’re lucky enough to be able to, or a hug if you’re even luckier ❤️ #dad #son #family #dementia #love
