A deeply moving moment of sisterhood during Bennett College’s Baccalaureate Convocation. 💙 During the ceremony, graduating senior and Miss Bennett College, Zairen Jackson ’26, presented an Honorary Bennett Belle Certificate to her God-sister, Lauren Mitchell, a young woman living with Kleefstra Syndrome, a rare genetic condition causing developmental delays, intellectual disability, and limited speech & motor coordination.

In recognition of her special connection to the Bennett community through her mother, proud alumna Bianca Mitchell ’98, Lauren was officially welcomed into the Bennett legacy as an Honorary Belle. The moment became a beautiful reflection of love, belonging, and the enduring spirit of sisterhood that defines Bennett College.
