This planner is inspired by being in/of service. My dad and many others in my family served and this is my father’s patch. The photo on the back is from WWI and shows Black members of the US Army. The bookmark is- well… IYKYK✨ by @vwallsmart

@simplicity_creative_group #S9754 drop crotch pants are the same pattern as the burgundy pair, just streamlined with/ a faux fly and flat front (I might change that later). Best sneakers ever from @reebok. And yes, of course this railroad denim is from @mulberrysilks 💗

So… I was trying to participate in an impromptu #memademay2024 #memademay post for these breezy linen pants and… this lovely lady needed the mirror too. I really don’t think she meant any harm but I was dumbfounded. And I was really tickled when I left and watched the video because I couldn’t get myself together long enough to hide my belly fat. #TJMaxx has pretty nice mirrors and @mulberrysilks has the best linen.

The second Rue Quilt Coat is complete! I made this one fully reversible and I couldn’t be happier.
The #swsruequiltcoat pattern from @spaghetti_western_sewing hasn’t been released yet, but it is a great piece to sew!
For this version I chose a double sided pre quilted camouflage ripstop fabric from @joann_stores. (It’s the ONLY piece of camo in my closet.) The 2 miles of bias binding I made is a lightweight blend I had in my stash. Don’t be surprised if you see me wearing at least 2 more versions.
