For a long time, I couldn't figure out what was going on with my knee. The pain went away fast after a game but when it started to linger longer, I thought I needed to have it checked. The MRI finally gave me an answer: torn cartilage.

If you've ever been sidelined by an injury, you know how devastating it feels to be kept away from the sport you love. Luckily, my orthopedic doctor was able to give me targeted shorts in the area to act as a cushion, which has completely knocked out the pain for now! 🙌

I'm back on the court and soaking up every single second of playing time, because the truth is, I don't know how long this relief will last. But for today? I'm smiling, I'm moving, and playing tennis. 🎾✨

To anyone else out there pushing through a torn cartilage or a stubborn joint injury, let's start a club! 😆

Do you play tennis or any sport with a torn cartilage? What are your go-to tips and tricks? Let's swap advice in the comments!

Injuries have a way of making us appreciate the good days a whole lot more. Enjoy every minute out there! 🙌 I have had a lot of issues with my shoulder this prep before my meet and I had to back off of training bench so much 😢

I’m so glad you got answers to what is going on! I hope that recovery will go smoothly from here on, and I’m glad that you found shorts that help support it so you can do the things you love ❤️❤️🙌🙌

I was playing doubles with a couple of new acquaintances and they were teasing me, asking if I was taking a selfie. 😂😂😂
