Blink 😝 and it’s over 🏫 School days are done for son number two Ben 🩵 The kid who jumped out of bed most mornings & said yes to almost every opportunity 🙋🏼‍♂️ That same spontaneity also resulted in a few tense meetings during middle school 😳 but the last two years have brought out the best in Ben ☀️ and that is every parents goal right? For those in the thick of it, hang in there… they do come out the other side 🤯 but yes it’s a wild ride 🎢 Shout out to all of the kids that find School hard (we have those too) as this time of year is bittersweet ❤️‍🩹 School is not for everyone (especially in 2026) & soooo many changes to the system are desperately needed, but for Ben, it has been an honour to watch & guide ❣️ Thank you to all of the mums who have helped Mother Ben also, you know who you are & we are forever grateful (it takes a village) For now, we will enjoy the AFL State champs, a few exams 🤣 Yr 12 Formal + turning 18! A busy month ahead 🎉 #secondborn #bestbrother #raisingboys PS. If you’ve read this far, the best thing to come out of middle school were the mates (boy friendships are beautiful) Latte Boyz 🏄🏻‍♂️ ☕️

One of these hooks got 14 million views, and the other only got 40,000.

They’re both my videos, posted on the same channel, using the same strategy.

But one did 350x better than the other.

The main difference…comes down to one thing…Triple Hook Alignment.

Every video technically has 3 hooks:

When all 3 of those hooks are aligned, the viewer’s understanding goes way up and the retention metrics are much higher.

But when the 3 hooks don’t align, the viewer gets confused and usually scrolls away.

It sounds simple but hook alignment is a major issue in most of the bad videos I review.

Now the best way to improve at your hook alignment is to run the Sound Off and Eyes Closed tests.

Watch the video without sound first and guess what the video is about based on what you see in the visual and text hook.

Then, listen back to the video with your eyes closed and see if what you say matches up.

If it’s misaligned, you’ve got a hook alignment problem that you need to fix before you post.

If you want to learn how to build better hooks that actually hold attention, I’m running a 4 week content growth program that goes through my entire content system and workflow.

It covers everything you need to know about hooks, as well as storytelling, ideation, and AI systems.

Comment “Launch” and I’ll add you to the waitlist.

Filip’s 57.5 kg muscle-up showcases impressive strength and a distinctive transition.

His narrow grip and tucked elbow pull are familiar muscle-up features. What stands out in his execution is how his elbows then flare outward and move in front of his shoulders while remaining deeply bent, suggesting a horizontal shoulder adduction component.

My hypothesis is that this repositioning helps guide his torso’s path over the bar. Moving the arms forward may also contribute to counterbalancing the rest of the body during that shift, although this footage alone cannot confirm that effect.

Given the height of his pull, his aggressive and distinctive transition technique allows him to compensate for the height typically required in a conventional muscle-up.

This visual analysis explores his technique’s particularities and demands, without ranking it as better or worse.

Filip has developed the strength and control to handle these positions repeatedly. That takes preparation, and what works for him may not suit every athlete.
