And the other DP is Levi Kanter. About the short: This short film follows Louis and Vanessa, two best friends who have always shared a special connection. Vanessa is outgoing, adventurous, and determined to live life to the fullest, while Louis is quieter and more reserved. Despite their differences, they understand each other in a way no one else can.

As Vanessa becomes trapped in a frustrating situationship that leaves her feeling unappreciated, Louis struggles to watch someone he cares about settle for less than she deserves. One night, after Vanessa reaches a breaking point, Louis finally takes a chance and tells her how he feels. His honesty forces Vanessa to confront emotions she has been avoiding. She has spent so long running from the possibility of something more because she believes Louis is too good for her and fears she will only hurt him.

What Vanessa eventually realizes is that Louis never needed her to be perfect. It was always her and him. Thank you all for watching. This is shot a Bolex camera using 16mm film and took two rolls of 250D. The camera can not pick up sound so that is why it’s more of a dialogue free film.
