✍🏼 I took many pictures & went many places during my trip to Seattle… yet one moment stands out to me out of them all. I was strolling through the Pike Place Market with my friend, taking it all in. I noticed this girl on a stool along the side of one of the main streets. She was just sitting there with her vintage typewriter and some stock paper. I thought, I gotta stop here. I don’t know what for, but I’m drawn. A few hours later once I trekked back that way, she was still there… and I knew it was meant to be.
I stopped and we chatted and I asked what she was doing. “I’ll write you a poem for whatever price you think it’s worth”. Sold.
I mentioned some ideas / topics & let her do her work. The result is something that will stay with me forever 🫶🏼 Somehow, she knew I loved plants. Somehow, she spoke to my soul. And somehow, I knew she would.
Slow down & take a chance. Ya knew know the connection you could create!
Thank you for your beautiful work & sharing your mind with the world!
@grim__collections Not many of you know how much I love to write, reading others work, & how much I love poetry. That’ll change 🤗
