Apple crisp but in bread form and I can’t stop making it!! Soft, buttery apple bread loaded with tender apples, a thick sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, a crunchy streusel topping and a drizzle of glaze. Basically everything you love about apple crisp, but in sliceable form. And yes, it’s absolutely meant to be eaten with a hot cup of coffee!

A video showing a woman wearing a bikini at a Dandiya night has gone viral on social media, triggering criticism from some users and reigniting the debate over dress codes at Garba and Dandiya events.

Following the video, several netizens have urged the government and event organisers to introduce a proper dress code, arguing that Garba is a traditional festival associated with devotion to Goddess Durga and should be celebrated with respect for its religious and cultural significance.

Some social media users have also expressed concerns that Garba nights are increasingly becoming platforms for dating, making reels and gaining online attention rather than focusing on the traditional celebration. They believe the growing emphasis on fashion and social media popularity is taking attention away from the festival’s cultural roots.

However, the discussion has also raised questions about personal freedom and whether clothing choices should be regulated at public events. While some support dress guidelines to preserve the traditional atmosphere, others believe that any restrictions should be reasonable and respectful of individual choices.

The viral video has added fuel to an ongoing online debate: Should Garba and Dandiya events have a strict dress code?
