بنين🌹

Part I - Baneen

For this flower series, I chose to represent Baneen with roses because they are symbols of devotion, love, passion, blood, and the heart 🫀

A reminder that vulnerability and feeling is not weakness, it’s strength in a world that makes forgetting our feelings so rewarding. She is a vessel of love. Intensity that protects with the power to destroy and create all over again.

This series is meant to remind us that the natural world is our greatest teacher, that it is alive just as much as we are. And that our beauty is rooted in our ancestors, even if that’s the plants or the land that never abandoned us. Roses teach us lessons about how to return to the hearts we abandon.
