The South Asian Trans Muslim Rights Forum (TMRF.SA) is organizing a virtual community consultation with queer, trans*, non-binary, and gender-diverse Muslims from across India and Kashmir as part of the broader Asha Committee Report process, a collaborative initiative being undertaken by a coalition of community-based organizations.
As part of its contribution to the coalition's work, TMRF.SA is facilitating consultations focused on the experiences, concerns, needs, and recommendations of queer and trans Muslim communities.
In view of the security, privacy, and confidentiality concerns faced by many queer and trans Muslim individuals, this will be a closed-door consultation exclusively for queer, trans*, non-binary, and gender-diverse Muslims. Participation will be by registration only. Access details and the meeting link will be shared via email with confirmed participants.
