When 5 year old Maverick stepped aboard he had no idea the boat he was getting on was also a Maverick! He also didn’t know the size of some of the fish he was going to be going against! Using light 12 lb spinning gear Maverick was giving the juvenile cudas and jacks more than they could handle, until Maverick hooked something in a league of its own. Using the same tiny baits and tiny hook, Maverick found himself engaged with something much bigger. With minimal assistance from Dad, Maverick was able to keep this overslot snook away from structure and bring him boat side for a quick pic and release.
