I spotted these little house-shaped gift boxes and thought I could transform them into mini garages… which gave me the idea to turn them into Monster Jam party favours 🚙🏁

Here’s exactly how I made them:

Materials:
• House-shaped gift boxes: Amazon linked in my storefront
• 1:64 Monster Jam trucks: Amazon linked in my storefront
• Checkered ribbon: Amazon linked in my storefront
• Monster Jam logos + side panel prints: I designed in canva
• Small box of Smarties
• Lollipop
• Monster Jam stickers (optional)

Everything is linked in my Amazon storefront.

How I made them:

1. Start by cutting all of your printed pieces, including the Monster Jam logos for the front and the printed side panels for each garage.
2. Using a double-sided tape runner, secure the side panels onto each side of the box, then attach the Monster Jam logo to the front of the garage.
3. To add a racing-inspired detail, glue checkered ribbon along the front roofline using B7000 glue.
4. Tie a small box of Smarties and a lollipop onto each monster truck to make the favour feel a little more special.
5. Assemble each box, then place the monster truck inside and gently pull it forward through the front opening. The 1:64 trucks fit perfectly. I actually love them sitting slightly out the front so you can see each truck straight away.
6. Hot glue a pre-tied bow onto the front of the garage.
7. Optional: add truck name stickers so each garage matches the truck inside.

All up these came to under $8 each, which I think is pretty great for a party favour that feels fun, themed and memorable 🤍
