I remember rescuing this big beautiful neglected Blue Torch cactus from Facebook Marketplace, took her home, tried to help her heal and the wind decides otherwise 🥲 We did ended up with two healthy arms without scale and rot - silver linings! 🌵

You're SO right about this. People (including me] only tend to post the good stuff, when there's so much heartbreak in the background. I lost a good sized Rebutia spinosissima today to rot, but have tried to save two offsets so she lives on. Didn't post it though. Really must start doing that. There's beauty and hope alongside tragedy 😍
