I woke up to an unexpected surprise in my mailbox !!! Geez, from small city in Belgium called Liège to being recognized as part of the world-class drummers I can only feel proud of myself and of my parents, who always pushed me to dream bigger and go further ! I honestly don’t even know what to say, lol ! There are moments sometimes entire seasons when I question my artistic path. We live in a world that’s moving so fast that it’s easy to get lost in your own head, to lose your creativity, your motivation. We’re living in a time where so much noise gets mistaken for greatness and people don’t always recognize the difference between what’s truly good and what’s simply mediocre whether it’s drumming, music, dance, painting, or art in general and it can make you want to give up. But receiving a letter like this reminds me that there’s still hope, there are still people who value dedication, excellence, and genuine recognition.

This letter gave me more hope than I can put into words.
