Family Strings — the piano
Hadn’t played parts this technical in a while 😬 which is why I have so much respect for session players under pressure. The piano side of the Family Strings score — in the film, the piano is Horst, the owner of the violin and the grandson and son of the Nazis who passed it down to him. So the whole score is built around violin and piano circling each other, the same conversation the film is having. The first is my piano part from the cue where the two finally intertwine; the second is the main father-son theme.
