Once again, Karen Bass has doubled down on her effort to kill a safety project and bike lane on Forest Lawn Drive.

Fortunately, she will not succeed, because we will vote her out of office next month.

This is about more than a bike lane. It's about standing up to the wealthy and powerful few who they think they own the world. It's about building a safer, happier Los Angeles for all. It's about whether we're committed to the status quo or want real progress.

I'm sick of going out to this death trap of a road to film videos about this. Hopefully this is the last.

Like I said in the vid, this is a street fight. We are going to win. But it won't be easy.

If you're a cyclist in LA, I'm begging you to vote. The choice is obvious.

When I wrote about the last fifteen years of my life online, I shared that I had bought back equity in WeWoreWhat. It was the first time I’d talked about it publicly until the HSR podcast that aired yesterday. What I didn’t get into on either, was why I sold part of the company in the first place, what I did with the money, or how much that decision changed my financial life… comment BUSINESS and I'll send you the article 💸

I usually hate defending myself on the internet but this one I had to. We’re still regurgitating stupid thoughts that a man isnt a man unless they pay for everything? In this economy? Nah dude, I’m good.

I still get treated like a queen while having my own money and I WILL NOT TAKE ANY SLANDER AGAINST MY LOVE.

And I’m posting this so other women know that your relationship can look like however it works for you. RESPECT is the most important thing in any relationship and just cause he’s paying for your cell phone or rent doesn’t guarantee he gives a shit about you. More often, he likes the control he carries over you.

Make your own money (or don’t) but I won’t be caught being trapped because I can’t afford another life. And I sure as well will only spend my time with a man who enriches my life every day, in much more meaningful ways than most men could ever.
