The story of Valente Brothers began long before our school was founded. Across generations, members of our family served through diplomacy, public leadership, medicine, industry, philanthropy, and jūjutsu.
Their paths were different, but their principles were the same: discipline, courage, respect, service, and the constant pursuit of excellence.
From José Gurgel Valente’s diplomatic service and Dr. Syllo Valente’s dedication to medicine, to Estácio Coimbra’s public leadership, the Silveira family’s impact on Brazilian industry and the Bangú community, and Grand Master Dr. Pedro Valente Sr.’s lifelong devotion to medicine, family, sports, and jūjutsu, each generation left us more than accomplishments. They left us a responsibility.
Today, we strive to honor that legacy through the way we live, teach, and serve.
Swipe to discover some of the people and principles that shaped Valente Brothers.
