2 years ago I knew I’d be part of #fifaworldcup2026 but I didn’t have any idea how that was going to happen 😅 I was just a girl with her delusions. Oh! And I was actually laid off from a role just a few days before I declared that LOL

2 years later- it all worked out.
Completely unexpected + completely unplanned.

⚽️ I was recommended then offered to be a Venue Manager on behalf of my company to work with our client, VISA, an official global partner of FIFA 🥳. The crazy part is I started to think it wouldn’t happen for me this go around. This just might be the thing I can’t pull off. I hadn’t had any promising conversations, 0 connections (on my own), 0 direction how to get plugged in 🔌 & God stepped in and reminded me people see ME. Although *I* didn’t know who to look for, *they* knew who to come to 🙏🏾

Did I know anything about Fútbol? No 🫣
What do I know now? I know this has been the most incredible experience I’ve had in my career. Fútbol isn’t just a sport, it’s a community that binds us all together. It was the missing piece the city needed, the WORLD needed 🧩
