Unpopular opinion…

I think the next five years will decide who builds wealth and who spends the next twenty wondering why everyone else got so far ahead.

Call me cynical if you like, but I don’t think the government is coming to make any of us rich. In fact, if politics continues in the direction it’s heading, I’d argue it’s never been more important to own assets rather than simply earn a salary.

The divide won’t just be rich and poor, it’ll be owners and non-owners.

⚪️Strategic investments
⚪️Equity
⚪️Partnerships

That’s where wealth is created.

You can either spend the next five years complaining about taxes, politicians and the economy… or spend them building something while everyone else is arguing on Facebook about it.

That’s exactly why I started Me Group.

The idea wasn’t to create another company with a fancy logo and an even fancier mission statement. It was to build a commercial group where ambitious people can partner, collaborate and create opportunities together across multiple industries.

None of us can predict exactly what Britain will look like in five years’ time. But if I’m wrong, I’ll have spent five years building businesses. If I’m right, I’ll be very glad I did.

Either way, sitting still doesn’t seem like the winning strategy.
