If you could talk to water, what would you ask?

What does the Danube need?
How can snow survive warmer winters?
What would wastewater want us to understand?
How can we sustain our shared water futures?

For our @startseu #AquaMotion project, Water Whisperer, in collaboration with @arselectronica we have developed an immersive ecosystem that brings participants into conversation with the Danube, rain, snow, fog, groundwater, and wastewater.

Here, artificial intelligence is not designed as an answering machine. Instead, it becomes a conversation starter between participants—introducing different perspectives, asking questions, and opening space for collective reflection.

The project invites visitors to encounter water not simply as a resource for human use, but as a living ecology with its own interests, relationships, and needs. Through conversation, participants are encouraged to imagine themselves not outside this ecosystem, but as part of it.

What would you ask the Water Whisperer?
