At dawn, a gentle bell awakes us all,
As jasmine blossoms drift and softly fall.
We wander by the stream in morning’s glow,
Before the rising sun begins to show.
The day unfolds beside the flowing river,
Where crickets sing and silver ripples shimmer.
Soft morning light slips quietly inside,
As we sit still, with silence as our guide.
Then breath awakens every limb and lung,
A salutation offered to the sun.
Body and mind move gently, side by side,
Through steady poses, flowing with the tide.
A peacock lifts from branches high above,
Its feathers opening in effortless love.
A fleeting dance of emerald, gold, and blue,
A gift the morning quietly brings to view.
The hours are filled with fruit fresh from the trees,
With bones and books and ageless philosophies.
Old stories speak of oneness, clear and true,
Until they slowly start to live in you.
Past gentle cows and curious dogs we roam,
Where monkeys, cats, and lizards make theirhome.
Each creature, great or small, seems to belong,
Another quiet verse in nature’s song.
Our plates arrive with colors rich and bright,
With fragrant spices warming every bite.
Shared smiles, intentional meals, and hearts restored,
Finding abundance at a humble board.
The afternoon invites us back once more,
To deepen every posture we explore.
With careful hands we learn to guide with grace,
Or teach our very first class in that place.
As evening falls, we wander home once more,
Past frogs and fireflies along the ashram floor.
Like characters from some enchanted tale,
They light the path where daylight starts to pale.
Before we know it, one more day has flown,
Yet somehow every hour has gently grown.
We rest with grateful hearts, both calm and free,
Ready to greet tomorrow’s melody.
