Every season deserves its moment, and our bedroom has just felt like the plopping zone for way too long. So in this summer season, I’m letting our bedroom shine with some small changes that made a huge impact!
First and foremost, as much as I’ve loved my Loloi Layla area rug these last few years, I wanted to brighten the space. So, before the Prime sale, I purchased this 8x10 for only $99! It is soft to the touch and the perfect palette cleanser that our worn and torn floors needed. (We will get to these floors one day…)
The next step was to find the perfect summer bedding, so I partnered with @linensandhutch for one of these two incredibly cozy, and most importantly, cool-sleeping quilts! The beige quilt is their 3-Piece Diamond Stitch Quilted Coverlet Set in Natural. The floral print is from Wayfair, and it was on MAJOR SALE for $47.99! To tie the bedding together, I took some help from @knobthornhome for the most beautiful Hand Block Print Linen pillow covers and Amazon for the solid ones.
Lastly, I had an old black frame that was collecting dust, so I cleaned it off, added a bit of bronze rub-and-buff, some brown stain over that, and printed this vintage coastal art at Walgreens.
And voila! Just like that, our bedroom has become not just a place to plop, but a serene space for the long summer days and nights ahead 😌
