Ready to “dive” back in… Twenty years after Aquamarine, I’m excited to return to a world that has meant so much to so many people. When we made the first film, @emmaroberts was just 14, and none of us had any idea it would still be finding new audiences two decades later.
It’s been amazing to see a new generation discover Aquamarine, and to hear from people who grew up with it and still carry it with them.
Now… it’s time to head back into the water @susancartsonis @sarahwatson42.

This is and will forever be one of my favourite movies of all time, I was a little girl when it came out in theatres and I made my parents take me twice in the same week, please don’t be shy adding some representation, as a young black woman trying at this thing called filmmaking, this was always my dream remake project 🩵 the themes transcend time
