To say I’m excited about this one is an understatement. Been searching for outside the box roles like this for a long time. Didn’t expect me in a rom com? Good. I want to do it all. Being surrounded by the funniest, most talented people helps. Everyone in this crushed. It’s smart and cute and funny and they tried to blow me up and freeze me to death, but Doghouse is tough on the outside. Many thanks to the uber talented cast and crew!! Fantastic source material from @katherinecenter Out on @netflix November 18th!

The second wave we are currently filming is just as fun! 🧜‍♀️🌊#aquamarine @susancartsonis @sarahwatson42 @emmaroberts @jake_mcdorman by @thisislizallen

Thank you @people for this piece, we can’t wait for Aquamarine to make a splash all over again. A special mention to Bailey Richards for the thoughtful conversation and incredible interview. by @thisislizallen

Ready to “dive” back in… Twenty years after Aquamarine, I’m excited to return to a world that has meant so much to so many people. When we made the first film, @emmaroberts was just 14, and none of us had any idea it would still be finding new audiences two decades later.

It’s been amazing to see a new generation discover Aquamarine, and to hear from people who grew up with it and still carry it with them.

Now… it’s time to head back into the water @susancartsonis @sarahwatson42. by @thisislizallen

We’re so excited to finally share the name of our new film: Guarding Stars.

Based on The Bodyguard by New York Times bestselling author Katherine Center, a novel one reader aptly described it as: “A perfect 10 — as funny and sweet as the very best ’90s rom-coms, with Center’s signature heart-tugging depth.”

We can’t wait to bring this story to life on screen for @netflixfilm in 2026. ✨🎬 by @thisislizallen

A new adventure begins. Led by Leighton Meester, Jared Padalecki, and the incomparable Andie MacDowell. I can’t wait to bring this witty, romantic ride to life. by @thisislizallen
