17 years without Michael ✨🤍
Today marks another year that Michael has passed. Today is always filled with memories. Can’t believe that he’s been gone this long already. Feels like yesterday that it was 2009 seeing the news as they take his body away from the hospital. I remember watching his funeral on TV still not believing he was gone.
My first memory of hearing his music was listening to the song Will you be there during the credits of the movie Free Willy. Since then he has been an idol for me. I watched, listened and read everything there was available about him. He represented kindness and compassion for everyone. He wanted to make the world a better place. ✨
To me he was someone who saw the world as a beautiful place to protect and has such a whimsical spirit. He never lost touch to his inner child at heart. ✨🤍
I was teased for being a MJ fan growing up. I was known as the “weird MJ girl” bc I had pictures of him all over my binders and my ringtone on my first phone was the song the way you make me feel and I always talked about him when giving any opportunity to do so! If someone were to tell little Mir and she will find friends who admire him as much I she did later in life she would been over the moon!
I’m so grateful that I found so many friends that love MJ like I do and talk about him and celebrate him. ✨🥹🤍
I spent today listening to his music, watching his music videos and movies. His legacy live on forever in our hearts. His art will forever be immortal. I believe that he is finally happy in heaven. ✨🤍 RIP Michael ✨🤍

There will really never be anyone who did it like him. I miss him greatly and feel blessed to have been able to witness his genius in this lifetime. I hope he is moonwalking and leaning in heaven ❤️
