Tonight we sold the van. If you know @georgenicksondrums and I, you know all too well what this means for us. Truly too many miles and memories to count. I’m feeling all the feels reflecting on the past 14 years with our first best girl (yes, before Lolo she really was our pet…) the glorious Mulva ✨ On to your next adventure and so are we ❤️

Come and meet my mom! She always shows up in a lot of different ways. And I’m sure nobody sees her in the same ways that I see her. It took some time before I was able to see her in her many forms. After my mom died, I wasn’t ready to look for her. I wasn’t ready to say hi in a new way. I just wasn’t ready for a lot of things. And if it doesn’t feel like you’ve seen signs from your dead people, you’re not alone. Not everyone does! Also I’m a big believer that they all decide when the time is right to come back and say hi. All we can do is keep saying hi to them and keep looking for them. Everywhere. All the time. However feels right to you. They are out there. Somewhere. And you get to grieve them however you want to, even if that means talking to plants and animals and doing things society calls “weird.” That’s grief for you. And it can be a beautiful thing.
