🏔️ Result: DNF at 33KM | ⛰️ EG 2,149m
Back again… hoping to rewrite last year’s story.
Turns out, TDG had other plans. 😆
I honestly didn’t expect Selayang to hide such brutal terrain. The route was raw, technical, and absolutely lazat. Add a few days of rain before race day, and Kuang & Panakati became a masterclass in mud, sliding, and controlled chaos.
This time, I made a promise to myself:
No falls.
Mission success lol 😝 but ada ballet dance 💃🏻 abit during sliding..
When I reached Kanching, I made the decision to stop instead of heading out for the second loop. I knew my body, I respected the course, and sometimes the bravest decision is knowing when to surrender.
Looking back at photos now… regret pula tak masuk sampai Templer. 🫣😂 But that’s trail running. The race ends, the memories stay, and suddenly you start thinking, “Maybe I should’ve continued…”
