@melodytheceo and I FINALLY made it to a @lavintagewholesale pop-up in LA, and let me tell you… if you love thrifting, this is an experience you need to add to your list! They host these pop-ups about once a month, and the concept is pretty unique! Imagine a huge outdoor space outside a warehouse filled with piles of clothing, jeans, shoes, accessories, and materials just waiting to be discovered! Everything is loosely organized into categories like kids, tops, and bottoms, but things definitely get mixed up! You’ll find yourself climbing over piles, digging through different sections, switching sides, and searching for those hidden gems. It’s basically a treasure hunt, and you never know what you’ll find! There are even unopened bundles waiting to be brought out as the piles start getting low! Pro tip: Get there early if you want a better chance of grabbing one of their plastic bins. They also provide shopping carts to pile in all your finds! Melody is a HUGE thrifter and loves the idea of giving pre-loved items a second life. She truly believes you don’t always need to buy something brand new to create a new look. Sometimes all it takes is a little creativity to turn something secondhand into something uniquely YOU! Did you know? Reusing and buying secondhand clothing helps extend the life of garments, reduces textile waste, and can lower the demand for newly manufactured clothing. Sometimes the most sustainable outfit is one that already exists! We walked away with 10.55 POUNDS of goodies! Everything is priced by weight at $6 per pound, plus tax. Our total came out to around $69! That’s a whole lot of thrifting fun and new-to-us pieces without paying traditional retail prices! These pop-ups don’t happen often, and the one we attended was only ONE DAY, so if you want to experience it for yourself, make sure to follow @lavintagewholesale for announcements about their next event! #LaVintage #ThriftWithUs #SustainableFashion #ThriftFinds #SecondhandStyle

Neighbors, what y’all replying back with? 👀
Rams Old Kicker Harrison Mevis • 6’0”, 245 lbs. Rams New Kicker Blake Grupe • 5’7”, 156 lbs. A massive change in LA. Harrison Mevis went from having the opportunity to be the hero to getting CUT by the Los Angeles Rams after their heartbreaking 37-34 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills. Mevis missed a 50-yard field goal earlier in the game before having his potential game-winning 48-yard attempt blocked in overtime. After everything Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense did to keep Los Angeles alive, watching their kicker fail to deliver in such a massive moment was absolutely brutal. What makes this situation even crazier is how quickly everything fell apart for Mevis. Just last season, he was making clutch kicks and helping the Rams win important games, but this year has been a completely different story. He made just five of his nine field goal attempts through five games, and Sean McVay made it clear after Monday night’s loss that the kicking situation wasn’t good enough. Less than a day later, reports emerged that the Rams were moving on from him. The NFL is genuinely a ruthless business, especially when you’re a kicker. One moment you’re being celebrated for winning games, and the next you’re looking for another team because you couldn’t deliver when it mattered most. Mevis certainly wasn’t the only reason Los Angeles lost, but his struggles became impossible to ignore. The Rams reportedly decided to bring in Blake Grupe, officially signaling that they had seen enough. Follow US (@jukedly) to stay locked in if you love sports! 🔥
