Take what resonates with YOU!

1. ✨️Price everything clearly✨️
Either price items individually or have clearly marked price racks. It's keeping in mind people who may have social anxiety and would rather walk into oncoming traffic than ask you how much something is lol and how you do it is totally up to you.

2. ✨️Be welcoming✨️
Acknowledge people walking by or in your booth rather than being out of site or head down on your phone. A simple "Hi, let me know if you have any questions!" really makes a difference. Then give them space; don’t hover. If they want to chat, chat!
Ps. checking your phone is fine but if there are potential customers walking by or looking around and you seem uninterested, they in return will feel uninterested.

3. ✨️Sell what you actually like✨️
I know this is different for others but this is what makes it fun for ME! People can tell when you’re passionate about something and it typically makes them more interested knowing you're also into the things they'relooking at. Be able to talk about your items like what makes them special or how to style them! Give people the vision.

4. ✨️Make payments easy✨️
Clearly display accepted payments (Cash, Venmo, CC, Tap to Pay, etc..) QR codes are super helpful! And if you accept cash, keep at the very least $20 in small bills to be able to make change! Do this before the market!

5. ✨️Have no expectations✨️
Don't put that pressure on yourself. For your FIRST market, use it to learn, network with other vendors or customers (you never know who's shopping), and get comfortable. Get content. Have fun! Be proud you showed up the rest will flow.

BONUS ✨️Eat & Stay Hydrated✨️
Keep yourself fueled for the day. You don't know how busy the market may be and if you'll have a chance to get in a meal. Keep a hydration vessel nearby and snack when you can. Your body will thank you 😘

I know there are so many more but these are my top ones that I would have wanted to know when I got started and these are focuses that work for ME. Take what works for you- keep learning, keep growing and make it YOURS✨️
