One of the absolute highlights of my Alaska was seeing the Hubbard Glacier.
Videos don’t do justice. Standing on the deck, surrounded by floating ice, I could actually hear the glacier cracking and calving as massive chunks of ancient ice broke away into the sea.
I didn’t do it but I highly recommend booking the small boat excursion through your cruise, as you’ll get even closer to the glacier.
