Like women at the turn of the last century, children’s voices are not heard in our decision-making in this country. In a partnership with @suffsmusical @nattheatredc , I joined pediatrician researchers and advocates Dr Nate Kupperman, Dr Sarah Hoffman, and Dr Ramon Gist to raise awareness on the challenges to children’s health, including their mental health, Medicaid cuts, vaccine hesitancy, gun-related deaths and the threats to research that is the hope for ending diseases before they begin. We also spent the day meeting with law makers, including @senatorandykim re: Medicaid reform for children’s health care. Honored to march with these pediatrician researchers and child advocates to raise the importance of prioritizing children, our future. #EraofTheChild #KeepMarching
