🏆WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER🏆
Grateful and jazzed to have completed in and won @iloveburlesquenyc ‘s June #GlitterGauntlet show @freddysbrklyn ! When @misslucybuttons asked me to be a part of the show, I of course said “Yes and ..”, but I was nervous as hell! I had never performed a completely improvised burlesque piece before. Much less, improvising and act with a prop from a never before seen pile of props that you have 15 seconds to choose from , TO a song that is drawn from a hat 3 seconds before you go on stage! I impulsively grabbed a doll, and then a few minutes before performing I thought, “What if I gave birth during my act? That’s a BIT I can COMMIT to!” And thus Baby Creme Brûlée was born … to Frank Ocean’s cover of “Moon River.” 🤰
Thank you @misslucybuttons , @iloveburlesquenyc , and @anne_hinged for having me be a part of the show and allowing me to be my most unhinged and camp self! Thank you @missalyssakitt , @zennifersage , and @claracoquette for y’all’s creative, funny , and sexy acts and for yalls beautiful energy on and off the stage. T’was a pleasure and a joy sharing a dressing room with yall! THANK YOU to the audience for voting for, and laughing at my ridiculousness. And THANK YOU BABY BRÛLÉE!!!
