This is what Peak District cottages are supposed to look like.

We stayed at @alstonefieldmanor and genuinely did not want to leave. Grand enough to feel special, homely enough to actually relax in. Manicured gardens, a day bed, a double hammock, fire pit, cold plunge and the birds doing all the work on the soundtrack.

If you’re looking for a proper escape on the quiet side of the Peaks, this is the one.
