Everybody is talking about beef prices. Hereโ€™s @fernando_gonzalez_pitmaster breaking down the real cost of brisket. ๐Ÿงฎ๐Ÿ”ฅ

By the way! We choose @creekstone_farms, @rosedafarms, @snakeriverfarms, and @nimanranch because of their commitment to animal welfare, responsible land stewardship, and ethical farming practices. Theyโ€™re the foundation of our beef program.

Damn, you'd have to charge 40+/lb to make money and at that point a customer can only afford 1/50th of a pound lmao

I blame the travel channels and high definition cameras for the surge in brisket prices.

Pork ribs by the pound seems like a scam though. Tell me why other people sell it by the rack for $25-$30

Trimming should only be around 4lb. And cooking should only reduce about 20-30%. Should get around 10lb of cooked brisket from a 19lb untrimmed
